Ladies Room Stalker

I took this photo last weekend at Columbia Lakes Country Club when my classes were getting rained out. I didn't know how to tell the gender of this bug. It looks kinda like a preying mantis, but it's not. We used to call them Walking Sticks when I was a kid. I haven't seen one in a long time. You Know, That's one of the things I like about Columbia Lakes... There's a whole lot more nature here than inside the city limits of Houston...!

Today I'm teaching in Nassau Bay all morning... Then I have a break, and then a few hours this afternoon in Clear Lake. I'll try to post some more and catch up this afternoon!
